NOVA Phone

A number your customers call. Answered, every time.

NOVA Phone is an actual business phone line, not a chat widget with a phone icon. You choose the number, it rings into your AI receptionist, and it is answered day and night — including the calls that arrive while everyone is on site, asleep, or already on another line.

Where this lives in the platform

Every card carries its real status, read from the same registry the app runs on.

What happens on a call

The receptionist knows your business by name, what you do, and what you do not do. It speaks in short spoken sentences, says numbers and times in plain words, and works the call the way a good front desk does — find out what the person needs, handle it if it can be handled, capture it properly if it cannot.

  • Greets callers with your business name and your own greeting
  • Answers questions about your services from what you have told it
  • Books appointments into your real availability when booking is switched on
  • Takes a detailed message with a callback number when that is the right outcome
  • Handles texts to the same number as well as calls

It tries to finish the call itself

The default failure of AI phone answering is a receptionist that transfers everything, which is just a slower voicemail. This one is built the other way around: it works from a checklist for the call and a closed list of reasons to escalate. If the reason is not on that list, it keeps helping.

  • Resolves the call itself wherever it reasonably can
  • Transfers only for a genuine reason, then says so before dialing
  • If nobody picks up — busy, no answer, failed — the caller comes straight back to the receptionist to leave a detailed message instead of being dropped
  • Both the transfer attempt and its outcome are written into the call transcript

What you get afterward

A call that nobody remembers is a call that did not happen. Every conversation leaves a record you can read later, and it lands next to the rest of that person's history rather than in a separate voicemail silo.

  • A transcript of the call
  • The message, the callback number, and what the caller wanted
  • The contact record, so the next conversation starts with the last one
  • Calls and texts sitting in the same unified inbox as your email threads

What it needs from you

NOVA Phone is a paid-plan feature — this is enforced in the product, not just written on a pricing page: the plan is checked before a number is even searched for, so no number is reserved or provisioned on a free account. Pro is $39 a month.

  • A paid plan — Pro is $39/mo, billed monthly, cancel anytime
  • A number you pick and claim inside the app
  • Your business details, services and greeting, so it answers as you rather than as a generic bot
  • Optionally a handoff number, if you want transfers to reach a real person
