Inbox triage
Sorts your connected inbox into what needs you, what can wait and what can be answered — with draft replies attached.
The problem it solves
Two hundred unread emails, of which six need you. Finding those six is the whole job, and it eats your morning.
What it needs from you
An account you connect yourself, from Connected Accounts — Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar or your business number.
Where to find it
Inbox, at /app/office/inbox once you are signed in.
How to use it
- 1
Connect Gmail or Outlook from Connected Accounts.
- 2
Open the Inbox in Triage view: what needs you, what can wait, what can simply be answered.
- 3
Read the draft reply attached to the answerable ones and edit it if it is not quite right.
- 4
Approve the ones you are happy with — nothing sends without you.
- 5
Use Send later if the reply should arrive at a more sensible hour.
- 6
Switch to All mail when you want the ordinary, read-only message list instead.
